Up-to-date information about Blum's response to COVID-19

Blum Update: March 18, 2020

The ever-changing situation due to the coronavirus impacts us all. The next few weeks will continue to present a challenge to all companies from a health perspective as well as an economic perspective.

Here at Blum US we will remain open with production and logistics fully operational. We have encouraged those who can work from home, to do so. The safety of all employees as well as servicing our customers is our top priority.

We are following the recommendations of public health officials and government agencies to ensure that we are doing all that we can for our employees and the community to remain protected. We are practicing social distancing, we have encouraged employees to work from home, we are staggering shifts and we have increased deep cleaning throughout the facility.

Blum Austria has made the decision to suspend production from March 23 to April 5. The primary goal of their actions is the well-being and protection of their employees. Though production will be halted, they will continue to accept and ship orders during this time. Due to decreased global demand, inventory levels are higher than normal.

This is an uncertain time – we know things can change in the blink of an eye. We appreciate your dedication and support, together we will get through this. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, we are still here for you.
