A wide range of e-services support customers along the entire value-added chain. The company has eight plants in Vorarlberg, Austria, production sites in Poland, Brazil and the USA, and 33 subsidiaries and representative offices around the world. Blum offers flat-pack and pre-assembled box systems to help make furniture manufacturers even more efficient

The Austrian manufacturer of fittings is known for thinking outside the box. In addition to its extensive product portfolio, Blum also offers a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of its customers. The latest example of this is Beyond Components. Under this name, the company will be expanding its range of pre-assembled drawers for the first time. This will benefit manufacturers by allowing them to raise efficiency along the entire value chain.

Blum unveils new hinges as additions to its range

The Vorarlberg-based manufacturer of fittings has added two new products to its range of hinges: M BLUMOTION 105° was developed for flat-pack furniture and is tailored to the respective assembly process. CLIP top BLUMOTION 105°, with the tried-and-tested CLIP mechanism, is aimed at customers who need to install the mounting plate and hinge separately for production-related reasons. Both solutions boast the integrated BLUMOTION soft-close system, a streamlined, compact design and three-dimensional adjustment options. And all at an attractive cost–benefit ratio.

For everyone, everywhere: Blum at interzum 2025

Inspired by Jules Verne, visitors to Blum’s stand at the interzum 2025 trade fair were taken on a trip around the world in just 80 minutes. Among the belongings packed by the Austrian manufacturer of fittings for this extraordinary journey were new products for all living spaces, useful services and international trends.

Focus on circular economy

The Austrian family-run business once again demonstrated its commitment to a sustainable future at the interzum Boulevard. The key theme for the trade fair was “Rethinking Resources”. In line with this, the manufacturer of fittings chose to shine a spotlight on the circular economy. The display involved interactive elements which allowed visitors to become part of the experience and find out more about the five closed material cycles at Blum. Particular attention was paid to the steel cycle.

PLICOBOX: Blum's new box system for living spaces developed in cooperation with EGGER

The Austrian manufacturer of fittings launches PLICOBOX at interzum 2025. The new box system is designed specifically for living spaces. A key feature is its innovative folding base which was developed in close collaboration between Blum and leading international manufacturer of wood-based products, EGGER. The new concept makes manufacturing and assembly child's play. PLICOBOX boasts tried-and-tested Blum technology, is available in three contemporary colours and, thanks to its streamlined design, is well suited to the aesthetic of modern furniture. The product has also been recognised with the interzum Award 2025.

SERVO-DRIVE – new optimised version

The Vorarlberg-based manufacturer of fittings has made several improvements to its SERVO-DRIVE electronic opening system, with the electronics in all drive units being upgraded and the operability improved. In addition to this, there are also new features like the adjustable trigger sensitivity and an LED that provides visual feedback on the correct installation depth. The new version of SERVO-DRIVE offers maximum convenience when opening heavy pull-outs or appliance doors and was first unveiled by Blum at interzum 2025.

Blum ends the financial year with a turnover of 2.3 billion euros

Family-owned business Blum from Vorarlberg, Austria, has recorded 2,297.16 million euros in turnover for the 2023/2024 financial year ended 30 June 2024. With a slight decrease of -1.2%, turnover has remained consistent with the previous financial year. The fittings specialist welcomes this stable development and is focusing on maintaining stability for its 9,294 employees around the world.
