A well-thought-out assembly concept and integrated functions
A well-filled glass of sawdust is all you need to integrate AVENTOS HKi into the cabinet side. Choose for yourself how to blend our narrowest lift system seamlessly into the furniture from a variety of assembly options: depending on the equipment in your workshop, the number of fittings being used and whether or not you want to outsource any steps in the process.
Fully integrated with raw boards set
Our pre-routed MDF raw boards set already has the central recess for AVENTOS HKi. Cut the raw board measuring 450 mm x 600 mm x 19 mm to your desired size and veneer or varnish the board according to your requirements.
We offer a special recess drill for the router to re-expose the recess after applying veneer.
Fully integrated with routing template set
We have developed a special copy router and routing templates for cutting a precise recess for the lift mechanism and insert panel.
Fully integrated with composite construction (two-piece panel)
Use a CNC machine to surface mill the half cabinet sides and then glue the two halves together.
Fully integrated from the outside
First, use the CNC machine to mill out the edge for the lift mechanism at the front. Working from the outside, the rest of the milling work is then carried out on the side. The characteristic feature of this variant is a thin strip of wood left at the front of the cabinet side panel, which allows the lift mechanism to be completely integrated into the side panel. A furniture element – either a cabinet or crown moulding – is then added at the end to cover the opening at the side.
Semi-integrated with cover cap
Use a CNC machine or router to surface mill your cabinet side for the lift mechanism. This is concealed in the furniture with a colour-coordinated cover cap. Customisation options are available with different branding elements.
Fully integrated with MINIMILL
We have developed MINIMILL, a special milling machine for manufacturing in larger quantities. It allows you to mill side panel thicknesses of 16‑25 mm quickly and precisely.
Fully integrated with mortising chain unit
With the CATENO F mortising chain unit, BENZ Tooling is offering another practical machining option for CNC machines. The CATENO F is suitable for mortising very deep and shallow pockets with automatic chain tensioning during the machining process – perfect for installing AVENTOS HKi. Accessories such as the mortising chain, chain guide and pinion must be ordered from Blum.
Adjust the cabinet side depth as required using the scale on the ruler.
Use a screwdriver to set the correct side panel thickness of 16-25 mm.
The cabinet side to be processed is pushed in up to the stop position.
Simple fixing of the cabinet sides with just one hand.
Then start the routing process securely with both hands
The outcome: perfectly routed cabinet sides that are ideal for further AVENTOS HKi processing.
