  • Julius Blum GmbH, Industriestraße 1, 6973 Höchst, Austria, operates the Live Support appacquired by you from the app store, which processes and passes on the data set out in the following.
  • The sole purpose of data processing is to make sure that the app and services offered function correctly. Data processing is performed via the following services integrated into the app:

    Amazon Web Services, a company of the Amazon Group, is the leading provider in cloud computing. The app usesAmazon Cognitoto process your registration details and account information. Amazon S3is used to process and store the exchange of photos and videos. Highly compressed and encrypted data is transmitted and saved on European servers.     Vonageis a leading provider of VoIP communication. Vonage services enable Internet calls with audio and optional video transmission. Further information can be found in thePrivacy Policy | Vonage.

    Usercentricsis a consent management service. This service ensures that you can view and revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Further information can be found in theUsercentrics Privacy Policy.

    The following personal data is collected:
    • If you send us a support request via the Live Support app, this takes place via the Amazon Web Service described above and this request is linked to your email address, which you entered together with your first and last name, your company and your job/role when you started the app.
    • You can install the app on several devices and make use of our services. For this purpose, the device ID provided by your device's operating system is read out in order to better assign your request and improve the app.
    • For the purpose of processing your support request, you can share photos, videos and other files you have created with us, start a chat or receive a callback from us. If you wish, you can also enable your camera, point it at the relevant piece of furniture/hinge/tool and allow our support employee to take a photo of it and have a photo marked up with instructions, etc. sent to you.
  • You can withdraw your consent at any time in the settings under Data security. From that point onwards, use of the app is no longer possible or is only possible to a limited extent.
  • The personal data collected by our app will only be passed on to our affiliated companies and sales partners if this is necessary for the purpose of the support service and you have given your consent.
