Blum had an incredible five-day run at INDIAWOOD 2026 in Bengaluru. From February 26th to March 2nd, our team was live at the BIEC, and honestly, the best part was finally sitting down with the woodworking community. We loved getting into the details and showing how the right furniture fittings can actually transform furniture production.
The way furniture is built here is changing. We are seeing a move away from on-site manual work and a real push toward high-quality, modular production. Blum is here to make that transition easier. 1. Finally, unveiling the CLIP top BLUMOTION 105° hinge
We finally brought out the hinge that our local partners have been waiting for. It really fills a gap by giving you that world-class quality Blum is known for, but at a price point that makes sense for everyday projects. Now, you can build our signature soft-close motion into every single cabinet on your shop floor without second-guessing the cost.
2. Launching the Blum Club for Carpenters & Contractors
In India, homeowners trust the person installing the hardware more than anyone else. To support our local carpenters and contractors, we used the show to launch the Blum Club App. It is a straightforward loyalty program where you scan QR codes on our packaging to earn points and rewards. It is our way of saying thanks for choosing Blum.
3. Real Productivity with Assembly Devices
Growth usually comes down to how efficient you can be. We had dedicated a section of our stand to assembly devices because Blum is your all-around partner. 5. The 105° Hinge Challenge
Who says precision cannot be fun? Our "105° Hinge Challenge" was a customised version of the classic wire-loop game, and it was a total hit. Visitors had to guide a hinge-shaped piece along a curvy track without letting it buzz. It required the same steady, smooth motion that we build into our hinge systems.
