Another design award for Blum’s TANDEMBOX intivo
The TANDEMBOX intivo product line has won yet another award, the German Design Award 2013. Blum’s TANDEMBOX pull-out system comprises three different lines in all, offering a multitude of design options and possibilities of differentiation.
Hoechst, Austria – November 2012
TANDEMBOX intivo has already won numerous awards, such as the iF product design award, the red dot award, interzum award and a nomination for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. Now it has been presented with the German Design Award. The jury of the Design Council in Frankfurt was impressed by the quality of design of Blum’s product line. The jury, which consists of representatives of trade and industry, universities and the design world, presents the award every year. When developing TANDEMBOX intivo, Blum’s specialists attached importance to achieving a harmonious balance between drawer side and design element. There is a seamless transition and no gap between drawer side and design element.
A product line with plenty of scope for design
High fronted pull-outs can be individualised with TANDEMBOX intivo. There is great scope for design, and customers and end users can choose from a wide range of materials and colours. The product line boasts a harmonious design without a gallery. The drawer sides can be complemented with BOXCAP, a side panel of the same material as the drawer side, or with design elements in any material, e.g. glass (printed with colourful patterns, logos or writing), wood, stone, plastic or leather. As a result, pull-outs by Blum are always different and always unique.
