Frequently asked questions: AVENTOS HF

My centre hinges always pop out, how can I fix this?

The reason might be that there is a tension in the fronts or within the cabinet itself. It is best that you check the positioning of the lift mechanism as per the instructions and important that the length of the telescopic arms are correctly adjusted. In addition, check that the gapping between the two fronts is within our recommended tolerances.

Is there a formula I can use to calculate the access to various cabinets with AVENTOS HF?

Y max = (top) front height x 0.44 + 38 mm

If you want to reduce the minimum space requirement, you can install an opening angle restriction (104° or 83°). The space requirement changes accordingly:

104° Y max = (top) front height x 0.24 + 34 mm

83° no space requirement

How can I fit a third mechanism?

For large cabinet widths with heavy wooden fronts you just mount an intermediate wall for a third mechanism to be installed.

Frequently asked questions: AVENTOS HS and HL

Can I restrict the opening angle?

No we don’t offer opening angle stops for HL or HS.

Inset application for HL. What is the maximum front thickness?

An inset application for AVENTOS HL is possible - please see the image below.

Also, add additional sides to each cabinet side inside the cabinet. The lift mechanism moves backwards (gap + front thickness). The maximal front thickness for the HL can be 26 mm, the minimum gap on the top and the bottom of the front is 2mm.

Can I use the HS stabiliser rod on HL?

The oval stabiliser from AVENTOS HL can NOT be used for AVENTOS HS.

The round stabiliser from AVENTOS HS can only be used for AVENTOS HS.

The reason is that the round stabiliser has less stability. For that reason it is not appropriate for AVENTOS HL.
